NBR - Your Pick For The Oscars

Post by JHScoot »

What is it? I don't know yet but it sure as hell won't be Gravity! I am at the point in the movie where Bullock is floating around in here space undies and see no reason to go further.

Is it ever explained how space debris, hurtling through wide open space, manages to zero in on several very small humans and their little ship putting them in great danger. I mean why not just move 500 feet this way or that and the whole shebang will pass right by?! Space is HUGE. Plenty of room for everything, I would think.

Maybe that is the "gravity" part but I'm no scientist so who knows!

What's your pick, best film 2013?

Well, in order to stay in orbit, items of a certain mass orbiting at a certain [EDIT]speed[/EDIT]must be at the same elevation.

Also, given that most of the items in space have been put there by a small set of devices, much of the space clutter started out at a certain mass.

Ergo, duck your head bucko!

I don't know what's going to win, but I liked Nebraska. A lot. I also thought Pain and Gain was a hoot.

Was Kate Upton in a movie this year and did she do a nude scene? If so, she's my pick. If not, I'm not really interested.
