I have a huge smile on my face.

Post by redding »

I won my Buddy Italia in the Bolla sweepstakes -- it arrived in Decembers, but due to massive financial problems, I was just able to get it registered and tagged, had the local dealer prep (Thanks Philadelphia Scooters! You guys RULE!). My regular rider (Honda Elite 80) has broken down. So I rode the Buddy to the office this afternoon and I cannot express how much I love it! I can't stop grinning.

Thanks, everyone, for advice!

Congrats - I'm totally jealous ('cause I REALLY wanted a second scoot).

I say ride it like you won it! 8)

Scootsie, I've found the guys at Philly Scooters to be totally awesome. They won't rip you off, they'll give you free advice, their service is great, and they're just generally great guys.

Congrats on having a great stepdad!

Does this mean I FINALLY get to see you & your new scooter again?! Hehe...awesome news about the Buddy, but what's wrong with good ol' number 39?

The only problem I've noticed with my new Italia is how I often get headaches from smiling too much... I guess it's the intense blissful smiling that does it. Not so much regular, everyday smiling...

Seriously, you are the first person I've heard of who won an Italia & actually KEPT IT!!! I was trying to buy one from somebody who won it but never used it  . It really is shocking! Anyways, enjoy your NEW BUD!!!

Hey Polianna, yeah, you'll be seeing me on the Buddy now. Poor 39 has some electrical problem that's draining her battery, but I'll get that sorted out next month. Sean at Philly Scooters thinks I should sell 39 (my Honda Elite 80) since she's a slow poke compared to the Buddy, but 39 will now become my wrenching scooter.

So expect to see me and Sofia soon. We should get together for a cheesesteak.
