Exciting Bag/Backrest Combo...Anyone tried it?

Post by aerogirl7 »

I was surfing around the scooterwest site today and came across this bag. It essentially straps to the passenger seat and doubles as a bag and backrest. Has anyone tried this on their Buddy?

I've been eyeing that too. No one seems to have tried it. My big question was whether or not it has to be full to be back restable.

I'm pretty sure the bag itself isn't strong enough to be a backrest.

All the pics I've seen have this mounted on a much bigger seat than the Buddy's (namely, a GTS). I think it's take up over half the seat and I know a lot of us sit past the seam.

I used a GIVI tail bag as a bag/backrest on my Vespa ET, and I think they are about the same size.

The measurements for this are 14" wide x 14" long x 10" high.
