Loose plastic

Post by BM »

I've been experiencing a little oddness - the plastic thingy that normally sits in front, I think, of the battery (? I'm embarassed to say I'm not 100% on that) - it's the one right above your feet when you're sitting on Buddy 125 - keeps coming loose. Anyone have a problem with that?

Hmm. It's below the glovebox, not on the floorboard. I was guessing that it was in front of the battery because I seem to recall being told that when I was taking the scooter off the lot when I first bought it that this particular rectangle of plastic was there, "in case I ever needed to access it" - it being the battery....I think....I guess I was way too excited to go ride the scooter to remember pesky details!

Cool. Thanks. If I could just get it to stop rattling around, now that I know what it is, that would be sooooo great!

You'll either need to grab a new one or epoxy yours, you really never need to remove it unless the scoot is ever stolen. You have your vin in a few other places.

The battery is under the floormat when you get to the point of wanting to hook up a Battery Tender or whatever.
