glow in the dark

Post by vitaminC »

Newenough is having a closeout sale on some Vanson jackets that actually glow in the dark! This is obviously not the same as reflective material, but it's pretty interesting. Great for those Halloween rides!

But wow, I can't believe you have to pay an extra $50 just get CE level armor for that that (or any other) Vanson leather jacket!

$325 for Vanson leather is a deal! I'm not a fan of the solar leather but it is highly visible. As for the $50 extra for armor, it's worth it. Vanson seems to have a different set up for every jacket they make. Some come with no armor, some come with some armor, some come fully armored. Some you can add armor, some you can't.

Just remember, if you find a Vanson you like that really fits you well, it'll last just about forever. It'll also take you months to break it in, the leather is just that tough.

Personally, I much prefer perforated jackets with removable liners. And brands other than Vanson seem to fit me better. But, if you like this jacket and it fits, it's definitely worth the cash.
