So it still has a carb, and just a little bit more powah. The 200cc model has a capacity of 199.89cc, 2 valve SOHC (single overhead camshaft), a 20mm carburettor, four gears, runs on 3.50 x 10 tyres, has a disc brake up front, an Escort damper and is, naturally, air-cooled. It has been suggested that a fuel injected version will arrive in 2012, but we’ll have to wait and see on that.
Claimed power is 8.6kW (which is just shy of 12hp in English), with torque quoted as 14.5Nm @ 4250rpm

How many of you would love to have this RIGHT NOW?
actually- if I am allowed to choose only one dream- it'd be for the LML Star 200i to be imported.desmolicious wrote:...So it still has a carb...
I wonder if everybody interested in the new 200cc version could write to Genuine and express interest if this would enable us to get them SOON?Lovelandstella wrote:Len wrote:Here is an article on the new LML Star 200...

If they have then in the UK there is no reason we cannot have them here. So PLEASE express your interest to Genuine Scooters.
Sounds like they just adopted the Stella 4T version of the instrument panel in lieu of the old LML configuration.Len wrote:
Even the instrument panel has been enhanced with a warning light which indicates that the transmission is in neutral and one for the rear stoplights which lights up when the brake pedal is pressed.
... Also, the entirely new engine, which has a different weight distribution with the load distributed more on the front axle, transforms the balance of the scooter, providing a more balanced and compact.
Yup, all that "all new" stuff they describe is what is already on the 150...Silver Streak wrote:Sounds like they just adopted the Stella 4T version of the instrument panel in lieu of the old LML configuration.Len wrote:
