Ok, I understand that it's now the fall and that the entire world doesn't center on the Midwest, but it's amazing to me how the market has changed in just a few weeks.
It wasn't too long ago that people were posting about how desperate they were to get a Blur, and speculators were trying to get over $4k for a used scooter. Now I have my great-condition new-in-the-spring 2006 Blur for sale on eBay with a starting price of $2200 and a buy-it-now of $2500, and no one's interested.
Ah, well. Timing is everything.
Blur market depressed!

It's bad timing because 09 is right around the corner as well as the cooler weather hitting and all the fair-weather riders are dumping their scooters and motorcycles. There's such wild speculation about what's coming out for next year that most people wanting something different like the Blur are holding their breaths for a 200cc Blur (lol, that's a loooooooooooooong time without breathing) or something else just... different.
The whole economy thing might play into it somewhere as well. But, yeah, timing is everything.
Good luck!
