PGO naked vs Rattler

Post by Susan Pegsmen »

I had heard a lot of people ask why Genuine didn't just inmport the PGO the way they sell them in Taiwan, and here is why:

Had to convince people that they actually manufacture the bike when they have nothing to do with the build of it, PGO just sell to them.
They shove 10'' wheels on it when PGO supply them with proper 12'' ones.
Installed some stupid ass fuel breather which causes it to vapour lock.
Run the carb lean so it passes emissions tests but doesnt quite run right because of it
insist that the prima pipe is the only aftermarket pipe, despite it being designed for the 50 and adding NO performance what-so-ever, oh and they own the company that makes it.
shady warranty procedures and rather dishonest aftersales services.

The rattler is mighty pricey for the quality, they sell poorly here

Troll.

None of those 'issues' make sense, even if they were translated into proper English.

The admin should trace the IP back to what ever junk dealer felt so inclined to try and spread misinformation.

I think it's a bit rude to call the rattler a piece of junk. I've sat on them and seen many of them, they are quality built bikes, and with many MB members owning them, it runs fine.

Just because your being stuck up about the rattler, I think you're purposely ignoring the fact every scooter in today's market has a similar vapor recovery system. Not all, but most, every genuine except the stella, hondas have it, yamahas have it, any bike with the same fuel system can have vapor lock. Yes even the buddy.

I think there are exactly ZERO people in Georgia that would write in that style, let alone someone in the military. It's clearly written in trollenese :P The only "proper" wheel that needs to be used on a scooter is round. Being one of the long time owners of the Rattler... I'd dispute just about everything in the original statement

there is quite a bit wrong with all of that, but the one that gets me the most is running lean.

runing an engine as lean as you can without missfiring is acctually worse for emissions. there is a fine balance of air/fuel for the best emissions and lean isnt it.

BTW, my rattler runs perfectly so running lean is not an issue here

i do agree with the prima pipe though. Am i the only person trying to make a real pipe for the rattler?
