07's For Real?
So, has anybody (other than pocphil) ridden/sat on/seen/bought an actual 07 yet?
I'm curious because the Genuine website and dealer websites I've looked at don't show anything other than the odd and old photo of the Series Italia. I know Genuine was showing the new scoots, including the Blur 200 at the show in Indy.

I just logged in to ask this very question...and there it was at the top of the list. I have bought the Series Italia 125 and now am about as impatient as my 5 year old for its impending arrival. My local dealer wishes they knew as well. I don't even really need it yet, a little cold here still (and windy), but I just want to hear someone has received their SI 125 (and hopefully loves it).

I've sat on them. They are for real. The '07 Buddy has a bigger headlight, LED taillight, phone charger above the front basket, and emergency flashers. The Series Italia looks even better in person than in the photos. I like Sunset Orange, but for the small price premium I would take the Italia.
The Blur in black and graphite looks really nice. It's stealthy looking, and black definitely has a slimming effect on it. The '07 looks a bit smaller all around, but it's the same size as original.
I have not had the chance to ride either one yet.

They came in a few weeks ago. We have the '07s in Black and Creme.

There's an '07 Red 125 in @ scomo so I snapped some photos for y'all, just to prove they're real. Its sitting next to an orange '06 125, and you can totally see just how much bigger the new headlight is.

The red is RED. Very red. And the lights are BRIGHT as all get out. The 12v adapter is right under the headset on the left side.

Scooterville has had a couple of '07's for a month now.
I stopped in today and they now have an SI and a red 125. That red is really sharp! I'd really like to see one with whitewalls.
Scooterville also has the Genuine Blur windscreen in stock. The quality of the windshield and mounting harware is top notch!
All in all, I went home today very impressed with what Genuine is doing.

A fairly real looking person actually sitting on an SI Buddy! I believe that makes you the winner of whatever contest existed for posting said pic from an earlier thread. Unfortunately the prize committee adjourned before determining what the award would be.
Looks snappy and shiny. Want to ride it now.

Not sure I'd win anyway as we didn't take this photo on top of a parking garage.slowgo wrote:A fairly real looking person actually sitting on an SI Buddy! The colors are very nice but that headlight just looks huge. The LED tail lights are a nice touch as are the front turn signals that are screwed directly to the plastic on the handlebars - instead of looking like a last minute add-on like the '06 version.
The matching shirt thing was unintentional - that's for real looking people. I'm just "fairly real."

Love that new scoot smell!
Finally came home with the new SI Scoot today! Sportique said it would be ready at noon, and I was there at noon.
I have been getting a lot of fun miles on my GTS lately, and I was excited to bring home the Buddy. Big success. Wife loves it. She could not reach the ground comfortably on my GTS.
Funny...I went from a motorcycle to my GTS because the motorcycle was too big and cumbersome for my small errands. I have felt the GTS was really small (in a good way). But now after tooling around on the new Buddy, I feel like the GTS is too big now. I am going to migrate down to a pocketbike shortly.

07 Buddy 125
Brooklynbretta has 07s. They look great. The Italia is really beautiful as is the red. I love my cream 2006. Great scoots!
