Scooter pod...
This is so weird. I was just thinking about how I could do an ipod hooker for Buddy, and low and behold I see a bastard that's already done it en-masse....

I really want to do this to my buddy.
Question is: once I tap the electrics do I void my warranty?

You'd likely void the warranty as it would apply to your electrical system; Genuine's already stated this. But you'd still be covered for your engine, exhaust, etc. Since no one's reported an electrical problem for the Bud that'd be covered by warranty, I don't think it should be too much of a concern.

That photo is a Ventini, not a Buddy, it's the saddest, crappiest, and most overpriced scooter ever made (if they are even actually making them). It was like a fiberglass shell glued to a chinese Vino clone. Please don't aspire to be anything like that scooter.
I second what Bryce said. I've only seen a couple decent scooter stereo systems, and they were on highly-customized very expensive scooters that were rarely ridden, and they ran off a separate battery. I've never known anyone to be happy with a stereo on a daily rider, you just can't hear it when you're riding. If you're looking for music while riding, get a helmet speaker or wear one earbud. If you're looking for picnic/parking lot music, get battery-powered speakers or a boombox. It's not as slick, but it'll sound better and it won't trash your electrical system.

I got GPS/IPOD running through my buddy with no issue. Bought the speaker kit on ebay for $80. Sounds awesome and it does not drain the battery.

Thanks for the info. And again, you have definitely mastered the art of bike customization! I am especially impressed with the quality of paint jobs on all your bikes.dsleedesign wrote:To reply to all:
