I'm 30, a Libra and like long wal....... wait, this is the scooter forum.
I'm near Portland, Oregon. I have a few toys and very much enjoy riding. The buddy fits right between where the 50 ends and where the 600 begins (in 5th gear). I'm digging it so far, a few mods already finished, a rally already planned and more mods to come.
By day I sit in a cube and play Second Life, surf the net and hope my boss overlooks me yet another day... sometimes I even wear a tie. By night, I don the Icon gear and warm up my Triumph Daytona 600 on some nice mountain roads before meeting up at Starbucks with friends. After that, we usually go to an undisclosed location and do some stunts, some top gear runs out at the airport or just general mayhem on public motorways. (Yes, I'm aware of the dangers, but thank you for the concern) splitting lanes, wheelies for miles, running from peace officers, burnouts, stoppies... all very dangerous acts with potential critical consequence so don't do them mmmmm kay

I've got just under 10 years riding and knock on wood, haven't needed to call my insurance agent yet... or my doctor. I've had some pretty close calls and I can for sure say that training makes a difference! Take a class, read a book, watch a video... then go practice practice practice... it will save your backside one day, guaranteed.
When I'm not riding, I used to wrench on my Audi. I sold it last summer and picked up an 88 Subaru Justy... now I just cry silently when I can't ride.
I do all my work myself because I trust very few people to ride, drive or work on my toys. I like to tinker and can't leave well enough alone. I picked up an 06 Rabbit for my wife a few months ago and every time I get near it she yells at me.... but it really does need an exhaust...

Anyhow, with the purchase of the Buddy, you all have to put up with me now like it or not, so just get over it

I do like to be active in whatever I'm doing... so if there's anything I can do to help the forum or it's members, I will try to do that as much as possible. I tinker a little in Photoshop and can make banners, sigs, icons, whatnot.. I build websites in my spare time. I'm admin on two street racing sites (street racing is evil, don't do it) an Audi site and a gaming site, but anything I can do to help out, I will for sure put all my effort into (see my other post on links to service manuals).
Yes, I will get some pics up sooner or later

You all seem to be a top notch group and I'm happy to be here.
Cheers,
Tim
