I suppose I should be upset, even feel violated, but I'm not. No, in fact, I think this is a friendly message, like "Hey, wanna play?" and yes I want to play. I really really do.

that turned out really nice. it still scares me though, the faith in zip ties. in the hardware store the other day i spotted some small hooks with threads on the long side. thought they would work great in this application. great lookin ride.
no i don't ride a scooter, i am a scooter pilot!

I was a little worried too, but each of the ties are rated for like 5 lbs, and i used 5 of them. I'm hardly putting any weight in the case either; just a change of shoes and sometimes my lunch for work.
Very nice! I like the checkers. Was wondering about the black rear rack, now that I've seen it, I like it.
I use metal clamps, wrapped in rubber to mount a case to the (chrome) rack on my wife's Italia...availalbe in the Electrical aisle at Lowes or Home Depot. Pictures if you wish, but arguably much sturdier than even the sturdiest tie-wraps...in any event if it's just lunch or shoes....

yes, definitely would like to see a pic of the clamps you used. looking for clamps and stuff is a bit overwhelming for me at the big box stores, so i went with what was easiest to find. seems pretty solid for my use, but if i were putting in anything heavier, i would be concerned too.
yep, 2 minis and 1 scooter and 1 motorcycle. not the most practical set-up, but the most fun one for us.
I knew they wouldn't leave a sticky mess when i want to remove it, plus, i can take off the clock and stow it securely if I think a thief might want to take it for themselves. Seems to be hanging on just fine on the local bumpy street and at high speeds.

Yup, we have been a 2 Mini family too! Here's the clamps, rubberized and wont harm the finish on your rack (your scooter's rack!).

I picked one up last year at Goodwill for $2.38. I never got around to finishing the train case/top case project though ...

Thanks for sharing! It's hard to find pics as I eagerly await delivery of my BlackJack. Is that the stock seat? (It looks different than the promo picture in the Genuine catalog, but, the promo picture also doesn't include the badge...)

I should be getting the prima put on this friday (weather permitting). dealer wanted me to wait after break-in period, until 400 mi service to put it on and re-jet. it's going to be so awesome!

Good to know. It's definitely a different seat than the Internationals have.
