"Modern Buddy" Decal/Stciker/Trim Piece?

Post by mcwbyu82 »

So as i sit in class and at work day dreaming about how i am going to customize/ spruce up my new Buddy one thing I keep thinking about is good looking decals/trim etc. So I have an idea that I thought I would throw out there and see what other people think. I personally really like this forum and the little community we have going. I also think the "Modern Buddy" logo at the top left of your screen is very clean and classy. I personally think I would find a place for a decal or even trim piece out of plastic/metal (like on the back of a car) on my scoot. What do others think? I'm not sure what the copyrights or whatever if any are on the logo, but first lets see if there is any interest and then tackle that .

I agree with brat – it’s not our name to say yea or nay.

Ask Jess to give you the vector artwork and then take it to a sign shop to have them cut it from vinyl for you.

I totally understand the whole rights thing and the need to ask Jess. I guess i am more curious if people are interested in something like this as a way of establishing us as a group of sorts.

Well... Jess just had a bunch of ModernVespa swag made for members who donate to maintain the forum. Thing is, membership there is much larger than our growing Buddy community and pulling it all together is, I'm sure, a real PITA. Best suggestion is to first contact Jess via PM and to float the idea of doing a run on decals. I'm not sure if demand will allow it to be cost-effective though. He may have some other ideas...

I wouldn't mind getting a Modern Buddy patch.

A patch? Decals?! Pshaw, how woefully temporary. Who's getting a tattoo?
