windshield installed and tested.

Post by fs8gbe »

put my windshield on yesterday but work was intense so i didn't get a chance to test it out until late.

i heartily approve. it does make a bit of sound at low speeds, and it might make speeds at high speeds but i can't hear it.

it improved acceleration immensely, and the slow dip between 40-60 (indicated) improved, probably by 5 or 6 seconds.

i am a big guy so, i've only seen about 65 indicated. this also improved by 10 mph. i could tell RPMs were lower too.

i couldn't tell if it kept the wind off of me or not, but it didn't throw it on my head, which i was worried about.

buy them while they are in stock!

Are you saying you hit 75mph with the windshield or 65mph?

I keep forgetting that the accuracy of the Blur speedos is all over the place. Still 10mph ain't bad at all! Glad to hear you're enjoying your new purchase!

If you have time, please post a picture of the bike with the windscreen. I'd like to see how that looks. I just found this forum, great to see the other Blur enthusiasts!

Thanks for the slides. You've sold me. I just ordered a windscreen from Scooterworks. It's my graduation present to myself. You've also inspired me to wash my scoot, yours looks sweet.
