I said "rear only," but I may want a front one as well, maybe if you did them as a package deal like you talked about earlier...

i don't really carry anything, but i'd still be interested in a rear rack. yours beats the heck out of anything out there.

I'm most interested in the front rack, and I'll point out that as far as I can tell, you're the only person with a front rack designed for the Rattler & Rough House.

Well, in that case, I'd change to both, but I already picked just a rear rack, so make sure to add one to the front rack total. Are you going to do the black powdercoat like you did on the originals?

Ill add a vote for you and yes they will be the crinkle powdercoat like what is in the pictures.

Does anyone know for sure if these will fit the rough house? I just assumed since they were the same body style that they would.

I'm almost positive that they will, all the other racks that are sold fit both rattler and roughy.

Well I hate to Disappoint everyone yet again but apparently there has been a freeze place on all personal projects. I guess a couple of *&%$*%& used some materials without paying for it and ruined it for all of us. I guess its been this way for about a month so im sorry for not knowing. Our shop is a steel fabrication shop so many people build thing for themselves after hours like smokers, yard art, utility trailers ect. Its always been ok to purchase raw materials and scrap to make whatever but some stuff turned up missing and now its this way. Again I apologize for not knowing about this ahead of time.

What if you were to run this like a real job through the shop and not a personal project? Would the price have to go up?

Can't speak for anyone else but I would pay more if you had to do it "officially"

I like the design of your rack over any other available

thats the thing for me also. these racks look solid and the rear has a good size area for stuff plus tons of places to hook a bungie. ray makes a great point. keep us posted.

Ill see what I can do. There are a couple problems with making these racks "officially". One is that if the company i work for ends up making these for me, my profit margins will go out the window. second, the quantity might not be enough for them to justify taking the time to producing them.
but ill see what I can do.

i wonder if they could make it profitable by making racks that will fit a bunch of other scoots, like the yamaha's and honda's.....vespa's and stuff. that'd be sweet.

I think I recall him saying that he wasn't able to produce these anymore through his company - too bad, nicest racks (for a Rat) I've seen.
