Flashing Brakelight

Post by Major Redneck »

At a somewhat local scoot shop i found a blinking brakelight led addon... it only flashes when the brakelight comes on... $25,,,

Install: i took off the reflector and added reflector tape, cut hole where bolt for stock reflector went to run wire. Brakelight is LightBlue located in the wiring harness... mounted using one small screw that will be coved by stock reflector...

My bad i have thrown the package away it came in dont remember the name... it was about 25 bucks,,, cheap brand... in my means to keep one of our local scooter shops in action,,, ill walk in and tell him to sale me something... he tryed to sale me a seat cover to keep the seat cool and and a few other bling things,,, i picked up the flashing brake light...

yes its very bright very seeable in the day time and a little too much at night... notice in picture that when the led lights up it also lights up the reflictive tape that behind it....it came with two light pods i only wanted one on the Rattler and im going to put the other one on the TGB,,, but only the one on the rattler will flash being its the one with the flasher,,, TGB will not flash just come on when brake light comes on... and it works very well.... on package it says off road use only... local lawdawg ( City NC) said it was legal... state law says no flashing red or blue lights allowed on autos but nothing about bikes... ill take my chances with a ticket if it just keeps one from running me over from behind...

I had Electropods (basically the same thing) on my motorsicles for years. Good stuff.

I have a Tailblazer on my Triumph now. It flashes the rear brake light in a pattern before going steady red. Also good.
