Gasket on Muffler

For the ones that has a stock Rattler muffler,,, if someone would look is there a gasket from the pipe to the head?

Yep. Some aftermarket one's have a copper ring but the stock doesnt. Not sure the benifit.

i took the pipe off to fix the stud that was broken off by the people that sold me the bike... there is a black looks to be rubber o-ring but was wondering if it had a gasket... my TGB did and so did the MRP pipe that I put on the TGB... Ratter i guess does not...

The OEM stock exhaust pipe DOES have a copper ring gasket. It is recessed into the flange.

Maybe that is what i was calling a rubber looking ring,,, looks like rubber to me... Anyway i got the broken stud out and replaced with a new one...
