Buddy love is growing!

Post by DennisD »

I know there is a rally section and there will be tons of pictures posted there after the White Sand Mayhem (1st Annual) is over. Its hard not to share this picture with you now as it shows that Buddy love is truly growing. Most rallys I've read about have two or three or maybe four Buddys but the WSM Rally had ten for their long ride today. I managed to herd them together at a fuel stop. They were somewhat manageable as they were hungry and the next stop was lunch. After lunch? Fugetaboutit! :D

Ten! Count em! Ten Buddys!

ha ha nice work, herding buddys. Not easy. I think there was some discussion of this at the WKRP rally in Cincinnati, but it was not gonna happen. There were probably 25++ of them there (maybe many more).

How many MB members came to Scoot A Que last weekend? I was there with My Buddy, I saw at least a few other Buddys.

I think WKRP was so freaking big maybe it was too hard to try to do... But if I had known about a meeting place I would have tried to find my way there.

That's a sweet shot Dennis, what an awesome ride.

How do you like my avatar, I figured I'd switch it up to correspond with your new one.

awesome. Only me and N2tattoos were buddies at the Royal Bastards Rally. then in san diego, many meetup folks have moved to their second scoots (some even within just like 2 months on a buddy, one only like 3 wks on a buddy) have upgraded to 250cc or greater. I'm stoked see so many buddies going to a rally. THANKS!

Pretty sure I see Krusty and her bicycle flag in that crew!! Funny how I've never met her, and yet can pick her out of the crowd.

Dennis, is yours the orange scooter with no rider? Nice seat!

It is a pretty huge flag isn't it...

I just got done putting together an awesome video montage... and then Windows Movie Maker decided to ruin my life. Lost all the editing
I did (and I was saving all the time and now it's gone)! I was working on it all night, had it synced up with music and EVERYTHING!!! :x

edit: FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK!!! (it's in the WSM gallery thread)

Yep, that's mine. Thanks. The cover came from scooterseatcovers.com. I need another but Crystal isn't doing anything now. Bummer.

Nice. Been called him since a kid and apparantly have lived up to the rep from time to time. Updated mine again also.

Great vid! Wish I coulda been there Sunday but the best laid plans...

Still need to pick up my goodies with the shirt and poster. Ten years from now when the rally is an international hit that first poster will be a valuable collectible. An awful lot of work was done by just a few people. All y'all did good!

That vid was awesome! My 18mo son ran up to me and started dancing as soon as I started it.

Glad you like it Lil BUddy.

Dennis, did you see yourself? You were the one in the oncoming lane that was waving.

At our LA Scooter Group ride Sunday, every rider owns either a Buddy or Yamaha. We've been having more and more Buddys show up at all our rides.

I think part of it is because so many people who bought last year are just now becoming comfortable enough to do the group rides.
