Iridium Plug Gap

Post by charlie55 »

Just ordered an NGK CR7HIX and should be getting it in a couple of days. My question is whether it should be used as-is, or if the gap should be adjusted to the OEM spec for the standard plug that comes with the Blur.

Thanks.....

All accounts that I've read on the iridium plug told me that they come pre-gapped. I didn't adjust the gap on mine and it's worked flawlessly.

If I recall correctly, they come with a specific gap because of the iridium core.

Wait... so you're keeping it again?
Lol, I can't keep up!

Yeah, you should be fine with the gap on the new plug.

Makes your head spin, doesn't it?

Yup, this time it's for good.

Figure I'll keep the Blur for everyday commuting and club rides since it fits that niche perfectly. I'll eventually pick up a bike or a bigger scoot for long distance/highway cruising.
