Ordered windscreen via ScooterWorks, FYI prices dropped Oct1

Post by Portland_Rider »

After all the recent discussions, I'm going with the short screen. I just finally ordered mine from SW this morning.

Fortunately, this morning, SW also just lowered the price of the Cuppini Buddy - Short WSBD3 from $99.95 to $79.95
The price of the Prima Medium - Buddy WSPRIMA1 was lowered from $69.95 to $54.99

The SW rep Donny said that prices on other products have been dropped too.

My local Buddy dealer wanted $99.95 + $10 = @$110 for the Cuppini Short since he bought it at the old price. Ha!

I think you'll like the Cuppini Short. Mine keeps the wind blast off but my preference is to look over a screen, not through it. Its perfect for me on my Buddy.

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for your reply.

I too want to look above and not through the screen since I've been warned that a dirty screen is dangerous to navigate by if you rely on it like a visor. If water and dirt cover it that makes it difficult to see through.

The color of your Buddy is absolutely beautiful. What color is it?

BTW, my new Fieldsheer Armadillo knee lower-leg protectors arrived this morning. They are based on the Icon model but have some new features. I just finished my first ride with them. It's too soon to give my overall review yet they seem like they might provide some serious protection.

Its SUNSET ORANGE. Its the only color that Genuine REQUESTS be used with capital letters at all times.
They stopped using it when it was discovered that it gave its owners super powers not experienced by the other colors. Through all of the ranting and raving of other colors such as is exihibited by the formation of loose knit "clubs" and proclamations of great speed etc you have never and will never see one of them go up against a rider on a SUNSET ORANGE Buddy. They know, ohhh, yes they do, that it is a hopeless and humiliating experience for them. Its ok that they can't bring themselves to admit it, but just watch them go silent and hang their heads in submission when a SUNSET ORANGE Buddy appears. All Buddy riders do not participate in the lesser colors chest thumping and get along fine with SUNSET ORANGE Buddy riders. We welcome all who are friendly to us and treat them as equals. But we know the truth. As powerful as we can be we choose to be humble when allowed.

ACK!

DennisD,

Wow, I think so far your SUNSET ORANGE is my favorite Buddy color. It's breathtakingly beautiful to look at. My Italia Green is a fun cute scooter color. I think your SO is elegant looking.
