a good alt to the prima pipe
,,for your buddy 50 & 125, check the site, but it also comes w/a silencer for those thinking about noise issues. i am seriously thinking about selling my prima pipe and order this one, it looks really great with the chrome on my headset, and fenders.,, so this is a great alt/site, my orders were delivered in about 10 days. got my carb from this site.

FYI: site NSFW and finding the "sound off" button is a chore (it's at the bottom).
I suppose I should be upset, even feel violated, but I'm not. No, in fact, I think this is a friendly message, like "Hey, wanna play?" and yes I want to play. I really really do.

For PGO, it lists parts available for Big Max 50, G-Max 50 and T-REX 50.
That site makes me hate the Internet.

I dont see how buying a pipe for a aprilia bike or a zuma would magically make it fit on the 50cc just because it looks similar.
If people have a issue with noise, there's a easy fix. Wear ear plus, get a full face helmet, dont upgrade your exhaust.
This site is one of the worst I have seen for scooter parts. It's not user friendly, and it's very misleading and descriptive.
No where does it say that muffler will fit the 125 or 50. No way would the same muffler even fit both bikes. Common sense.

well then
, i did`nt have problems wif my arreche carb for my buddy, it`s does`nt even say it has parts for buddy`s on the site,
It is a German site, not Scooterworks, ( so i guess that gets the stink eye form some), i changed my 50 to a 70 kit wif not problem for the pipe,,
i have a friend that got his pipe for a 125 on here, granted you have to
do some cross matching, but there are alt/parts here that are a option to Scooterworks ( which i have to wonder how many of you are getting swagged by them),, but on the other hand anything new gets a nod of unapproval by "old timers" , i will keep buying from them, and i like different, not a follower of the herd.

Part of a herd, break from the flock, old timer, new timer ... none of that matters to me. That site is plain hard to search. I'm not a huge fan of scooter jerks these days, but at least I can find what I need on their site in a reasonable amount of time. On that German site, you need an article number to find the part you want and I can't get the catalog to load on any of my computers. Not the most user-friendly setup for shopping.
If you've found some great parts for the Buddy on there, then please share the specific links. Suggesting we search for 125 doesn't help a whole lot.

Serious, I've yet to find ANYTHING other than that 1 pipe. Thats a seriously poor design for a site.Orange Guy wrote:Part of a herd, break from the flock, old timer, new timer ... none of that matters to me. That site is plain hard to search. Yeah, mojobuddy, I'm not raggin' on you here. You were just tryin' to share some helpful information and that is appreciated. But....
...that site is ridiculous! I have done extensive research and shopping online and have visited thousands of web sites. And this scooter-attack site needs a major overhaul.
Thanks for the post anyway!

ok that`s it
,, i subscribed to the on-line catalog, they sent it to me. my friend in my club help me find the carb i needed. you cut-paste that # into the search, it comes up, just like a scooterworks"do you have a part # for that?"
,also the dude on here makes a post his ears are blow out. i find a "pipe silencer" on here, simply b/c i ride a very loud buddy, 70cc + uni filter +21mm carb + prima pipe= one loud lil bastard, so yeah i take heed to that nosie factor,
and blah, blah about the ear plug , what is that a solution from the same mouths that say "don` jam on tunes when you ride"??wtf?
,, the fat that Genuine put a kit on the market that was not ready to go
out of the box is the real issue. i had to dig for info to get it right or wait on them F-that!! I found this site, it has what i need to get my scoot right.
i asked on here alot of advice on it, NOBODY had a clue, or correct info,
did i whine?? nope, i did the leg work.
i put it out there and that`s it. so shoot the messenger. HEY it`s german , they do shit different, evolve or die. i had the same issue wif the site, but some of the best scooter techs i`ve every talked to use it, more than i can say here. IMHO,,
,did i mention chevy chases acting rivals that of barney rubble? and cats
have to be the worst pets?
peace out

repacking
,, hmm i think there area ALOT of things you can`t understand -clearly,, but,,,
,,ok for your 50 prima pipe, it will burn in , that means the packing will
burn in to the perforated top stage of the pipe, THAT is what keeps the noise down, otherwise it gets clogged and runs like a straight-pipe, hence the
packing does`nt do much for the noise factor. take it out, cut off the burned
part and clean the rest of it with brake cleaner ( auto parts about $3 a can, dries fast, but very flammable be carful to let it dry completely) in the sun, no heat guns etc. you might need to beat it on carcboard to loosen the gunk and ring it out.,
when it dries, roll it up nice and even and slid the cover back on. it will sound really nice and smooth, possibly a lil more power or the engine is just breathing the way it`s supposed to. i have a uni filter and it makes ALOT
of difference. i do it every 1000 mi or so, takes about an hour.
,not sure where the packing can be found, my dealer does`nt know, but any
exhaust packing MIGHT work, i might try marine type packing used on inboard motors since i have a source and background in that stuff.
,, but scooter-attack does have silencer top stages for the pipe ( as required by euro-laws), but as you may have read it is a german site and some folks on here have a problem w/ out teuton friends,,
i`m getting mine there, they are about 40 euros
