transporting my scooter

Post by db »

So like i said I am moving to Colorado. Would it be ok to load my scooter in the back of my jeep on it's side? I would lay it on the right side in attempts to prevent the gearbox oil from dumping out of the overfill hole. Or maybe I could prop it somewhat up so it is not completely flat, but I deffinetly do not think I will be able to get it to stand up-not enough room.

I'm a HUGE fan of the versa hall hitch trailers. You can find them used all over the internet and will make it so you don't have to deal with putting it inside your jeep.

:+!: I've used my Magnum & VersaHauler50 to haul my TGB50 back and forth to the beach (125 miles) several times. We brought the Buddy home from NC (300m) and yesterday the Met home from the beach with teh same setup. The VH50 works with Class I-III hitch receivers, is quick to load/unload and makes it a whole lot easier than transporting inside a vehicle. I used a minivan to bring my Blur home, it weighs a little more than the Buddy, and it is much more of a PITA.
+1 for the VersaHauler

Yea, get the Versahualer... no monkeying around with the fluids and stuff... and you will be able to ride your Buddy as soon as you get there!!

You can always unpack later....
