To all of those who have crashed recently:

Glad everyone's going to be okay. Heal first, ride later. But should you decide to give up scootering, I understand. After my crash, I had a few dark moments where I couldn't figure out how to justify getting back on a scoot to friends and loved ones. Because it was hard for most of them to understand, "I love it. It's gotten in my blood. It's my thing." Fortunately, my wife, who had just joined the ranks of scooterists, was very understanding.

Anyway, when you're ready and able, I would appreciate it if you'd post a response to this thread:

It's kind of a summary of member crashes. It's not meant to scare anyone, just to inform. These reports help all of us, regardless of how long we've been riding.

Ya'll heal quickly. Be safe. It takes guts to rehash the facts i'm sure, but it's helpful for keeping us all connected to the real, hard truths.
