110cc Buddy?
Hmmm… wonder what this might be?

We do know from past CARB paperwork that sometimes they list models which aren't coming to the US but share an engine with others so is certified along with them. But all the Genuine 100s are listed in other papers. Odd that a "My BuBu 110" would be listed here.
It could be this scoot: http://english.pgo.com.tw/product_character.asp?id=28
This may also be some version of the Eco-Buddy that didn't appear last year.

I think my blood type is O2t positive... would be nice,,, the genuine dealer said they stoped making the 2t stella... i really check into the last red one he had but it seemed small to my like'in... anyway we can always hope for bigger displacment 2t scooters...
Scoot'in is more fun than beating up your sister, and it comes with a key!!!

Sadly, I wouldn't expect it. Emissions laws are getting more restrictive world-wide. Unfortunately the death of new 2T engines is likely not too far in the future.Major Redneck wrote:I think my blood type is O2t positive... would be nice,,, the genuine dealer said they stoped making the 2t stella... i really check into the last red one he had but it seemed small to my like'in... anyway we can always hope for bigger displacment 2t scooters...
Ah, so if I hold onto my Buddy 50 for a while, I'll be able to sell it at a premium price as a "vintage" scooter! There are many 2Ts such as the Rattler that pass even the strictest emissions tests. I don't think they'll be common but they may still have a little life in them and we'll continue to see them in small engines for a few years to come yet. Most smaller 4Ts still don't have the power and speed of small 2Ts. I think there will be improvements in small 4T performance and 2Ts with better emissions.Kaos wrote:Sadly, I wouldn't expect it. Sure, the 4Ts will eventually win out. Even those are all moving to fuel injection over the next decade or so.
Meanwhile, we can still get a 2T 125cc racer that meets even the strictest emissions standard:

after looking today the web site does not say that as it did in jan. of this year... also i noticed they have a RS 50cc in the same racing style as the RS 125...

I'm not a huge streetbike fan, but I've always wanted to try the RS125/RS50. They're facinating to me in that you don't often see motorcycles in those displacements, let alone ones that are supposed to be fairly quick.Major Redneck wrote:i was told in jan of 09 that the bike was $4,800 and it could not be titled in the state of NC he said it did not meet DOT standard ,,, what ever that ment... also the aprilla website said that this bike was track bike only...
