NSR: Went to the International Car Show and...

Post by babblefish »

...Paggio had a booth there with some of their scooters (Vespa's) and an 500cc MP3.
OK, so they decide NOT to show their wares at a MOTORCYCLE show, but instead, strut their stuff at a Car show where most (all?) of the people there are looking for cars. :? Beats the heck out of me.

My favorite car that I might actually be able to buy? Dunno. It's a toss-up between an Audi A3 wagon, Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (the long one), Subaru Forester or Scion xB. Yeah, I know, quite a difference between all of them. But, they do have one thing in common; they can all haul things. I can stuff them full of stuff and haul them around. It's a guy thing... :)

have you seen the new Honda Accord Crosstour? It has my eye for similar reasons, but I will require a hitch/towing capability to VersaHaul or trailer my scoots. I used to have a Chevette hatchback with a luggage rack that I could load with almost as much as a station wagon.

with all of those gone from the show there should be plenty of room for forward thinking scooter manufacturers

Those are by the Studebaker, AMC, Edsel, Desoto, Packard, Kaiser-Fraiser, Nash, Willys, and Rambler displays.

I still want one of those VW Jetta TDI diesel wagons.

The Audi A3 wagon is available in TDI and is basically the same as the VW except for the badge, trim level and the higher price. :)

My most and least favorites were both from Ford. The Transit Connect van/truck/thing (My #1 choice for a never-need-to-carry-more-than-two-people truck) and the Flex (International Travelall, anyone?).

Love the original Scion XB! Don't care for the new one though; they changed the "box".
