Genuine Newsletter and Gift
I received a postcard today from Genuine inviting me to register for their newsletter. They also mentioned that the first 200 people to do so would get a free gift, which looks to be a t-shirt (since they were asking for t-shirt sizes).
Anyway, I thought some here might be interested. If so, the website is:

Are you guys sure this is genuine offer? I mean when we sent in our registrations to Genuine Co. they got our addresses and everything including the make of our Buddies/colors, except for t-shirt sizes. Why would they again want informations they should already have and I doubt they need permission to send us their brochures......If they sent in post card they already have the address....

The URL is from the Genuine site. It's legit. This isn't to opt in for physical mail delivered to your house, this is for a monthly email newsletter.Stormswift wrote:Are you guys sure this is genuine offer? I suppose I should be upset, even feel violated, but I'm not. No, in fact, I think this is a friendly message, like "Hey, wanna play?" and yes I want to play. I really really do.

That's what I'm hoping, although my Bud had only 65 miles on it when I bought it, I'm the second owner....... I may as well had bought a new scoot without the waurentee(sp)bigbropgo wrote:the old, original owner might not be the current owner. and the new owner is what the promotions department are trying to reach. this is there opportunity. .

I'm sure it is to make sure they are sending the newsletter to people who actually want it, and not ticking people off with junk mail.Stormswift wrote:Are you guys sure this is genuine offer? By the way, for people who bought a scooter from genuine recently, genuine also has their t-shirt size, because the salesperson guessed it so that Genuine could send them a t-shirt and thank you card.

I'm glad they're asking the owner, because I have an XL tshirt which is way too big.Anachronism wrote:I'm sure it is to make sure they are sending the newsletter to people who actually want it, and not ticking people off with junk mail.Stormswift wrote:Are you guys sure this is genuine offer? You can always send it my way! (turns out that when the wife gets pregnant, it's actually the husband who gets fat. Who knew!?)digital-entropy wrote:I'm glad they're asking the owner, because I have an XL tshirt which is way too big.Anachronism wrote:I'm sure it is to make sure they are sending the newsletter to people who actually want it, and not ticking people off with junk mail.Stormswift wrote:Are you guys sure this is genuine offer?
