New Genuine Dealer in Santa Barbara!

Hi! I'm excited to report that Kawasaki of Santa Barbara is now (just in the last week) a Genuine dealer! I drive by the store every day on my commute, and on Thursday noticed an Orange Buddy sitting out front. I thought perhaps it was a used one, so I jumped on their web site to see what they were asking, as I'm looking to upgrade from my 2005 Honda Metro (I'm tired of going 10 mph slower than traffic!) I was stoked to see the dealership is now selling Genuine Scooters!

I stopped by Friday, just to investigate, as a friend of mine was just ready to buy a Vino and I thought she should take a look at the Buddy, based on reviews I had seen. The dealership was AWESOME! The OFFERED a test drive (which has not been my experience at any other dealership in the area!) WOW! I LOVED IT! I was so impressed! The only other bigger scooter I've ridden was a 2006 Vespa LX150 (used). I didn't get to top out the Vespa, but easily got the Buddy to 60+ mph. I was basically sold!

I called my friend right away and told her she's going to love it! She stopped by Friday afternoon, indeed fell in love, and became the store's first scooter customer!

Now I have to sell my Metro so I can be customer #2! Just wanted an CA members to know there was another dealer! I told the dealer I would definitely push any of my friends (and many of them are scooter shopping) towards the Buddy 125!

Nice to see you over here at ModernBuddy. There are several UrbanScootinites here. Are you selling your chromed-out solar Met? I believe you helped start the chrome revolution with that beauty. If you get a Buddy, I can't wait to see what you do to it.

You guessed it! I'm selling my Chromed Solar Met ... it's been a great scooter, but I'm really excited for the opportunity to be a little safer and travel with traffic. Since I still have the Met (haven't brought myself to posting on Craigs List just yet) I'm not in an incredible rush, but now that I've identified which scooter I want, I may be in a bit more of a hurry!

I'm already dreaming of mods to the Buddy!
