Quick Tip
Before walking away from your scoot after turning it off - give the brake a squeeze and make sure that back light doesn't come on.
Now this assumes that brake light was working in the first place but this will tell you if you properly turned off the bike. If you managed to get the key out with it still on then the light will come on.
just another quick way to make sure you aren't killing your battery slowly.

Because if your key doesn't turn the ignition completely off when you pull out the key, then you will hear and see your flashers blinking.Cheshire wrote:Why is that?

if these things are going on then there is a problem that needs to be fix... if the brake light does not go off when you release the brake then you need to get that fixed... if the ignition does not turn off and the key is out then you need to have that fixed...
Scoot'in is more fun than beating up your sister, and it comes with a key!!!

Ah, you turn your flasher switch on...I had read that as you leave your flashers blinking when you park the scoot! Makes sense now.Dean F wrote:Because if your key doesn't turn the ignition completely off when you pull out the key, then you will hear and see your flashers blinking.Cheshire wrote:Why is that?
