buddy 125 high speed shaking
I feel like every time I go above 40mph my buddy 125 is very uncomfortable. It shakes to the point where I feel fairly unsafe. I have only had the scooter a couple weeks and thought the shaking was just normal at those speeds until my husband got on and said something about it. Did any of you feel like this when you first got your Buddy or does it continue to be smooth sailing at high speeds for you?

Does it do it on every road? I've noticed that on one particular road that I travel, my scooter sometimes feels a bit squirelly. Since it feels okay on other roads, and it always feels like that on the same stretch, I've decided that it's either the pavement or perhaps the way the wind blows up the hill that the road skirts. Also +1 on checking your tire pressure. Over or under by a few pounds is enough to really effect handling.

is it like that on ALL roads, or just some? particularly scary are roads with grooves on them, or steel mesh bridges. pay close attention to the roads next time and see if the road you're on might be the cause. if it is, maybe look for an alternate route.

thanks, all!
I will definitely check my tire pressure tonight before bringing it in. Unfortunately it is like that on all roads. I'm so glad to hear this is not normal. I really appreciate all your responses!

I have a rim that is very slightly bent due to a tip over while allowing my Buddy to be on its side stand during idle. This causes a small vibration, not bad enough to warrant fixing. The shimmy is more noticeable at some speeds than others. Another possibility is a tire that is out of balance. Just my 2 cents.
