Finally! Great Scoot weather...and I'm hosed!

Mid 80s all week...sunny...very little wind~! And I don't get to scoot! A girl at work has had car troubles for the past two weeks and now it looks like her car is still not working correctly so I am picking her up before work and taking her home afterwards--in the car, of course!

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! :cry:

I filled the SUV up this weekend, hoping to not use it again for some time, and it cost me $35. Man, this hurts.... She offered to pay for gas but I know her budget is really tight (she had to fight for her food stamps all week due to a paperwork snafu) so I'm not pushing her on that.

Just need to vent.... :(

Sorry, not to nit-pick, but as a Buddhist I am always trying to correct the common misuse of the term "karma" or kamma.

Karma is literally translated as "action". Your actions (karma) can be good or bad, and then the results of that karma will lead to either peace or suffering.

So she is making good karma, and this will probably lead to good results.

Although, if you are resentful in while doing a good act, it is bad karma (a bad act). :D Karma exists only in the mind, and not in the act.

So try to make no karma at all, neither good or bad.

Hey, I'm a "he"! I don't resent giving her a lift-she's a good egg. I just wish I could scoot!

I have an extra helmet or two but I don't ride two-up on the Buddy. I've never done it before and I don't want to practice on the way to work in traffic!
