Last time we had Blur's in stock I really took to it but just felt a little more acceleration would be good. So when the new 220FI came available I was the first one to take it out for a demo ride!
It's funny how all my employees look at me and try to figure out why I am so excited about a scooter and not riding a new Italian Ducati motorcycle instead!?
The minute I went through the first turn I remembered how well this Blur handles! It instills confidence when setting up and putting it into a turn, it feels like it's on rails!! Brake hard, lean it in, even across the bumps and this thing just works! I spent the last 2 weeks evaluating what I believe to be the best "10 mile radius" commuter, I rode Ducati Hypermotard 796 and 1100, the new Multistrada, the Monster 796 and 696.... and the winner hands down........ 2011 Genuine Blur 220FI

Great to hear that Dave, and against some pretty incredible competition. What did you like best about the Blur compared to these superbikes? Do you have a Mana you can compare it to?

Having a Hyper S and a Buddy 125 I can easily understand the scooter winning out over the bike. I love my Hyper but for my daily commute (under 4 miles each way on neighborhood streets) the Buddy wins hands down.
I'm really looking forward to a Blur test ride. If it handles that much better than the Buddy, I may be very tempted...

My impression, so far, is that it could be called a 'sport scooter', but then I guess that's where the SS part comes in.
The addition of a few performance accessories can only make it sportier.
