How much experience have you had with ordering parts for your buddy? I had to order a new wheel (due to an unfortunate accident) for my buddy from my local dealer. They don't really carry many parts in stock so they had to order it directly from Genuine. Apparently, the item is on back-order and they don't really know when it will come in. I even tried calling ScooterWorks to see if I could order one from them, but the guy on the phone told me that they don't carry most Genuine parts in stock either and they would have to order it (i.e. it would still be on back order). This is a real bummer, I have gone two weeks without my scoot, and have had to spend $400 to fix my truck just so I have something to get to work in. We only have about 6 months here in Utah when scooting is an option (due to weather) and I can see them all passing me by with buddy in the garage.
Does anyone know of any other way to get Buddy parts aside from dealers and other round-about ways of ordering from Genuine?

Genuine hadn't anticipated the number of accident parts they would need for this season. I have a customer who crashed almost a month ago; only 3 days after the purchase, and still no sign of the parts. Genuine says they have a very large shipment due this week. Dealers only stock common parts for scooters like oil filters as it's too much overhead to stock much more. Motorcycles are the same way.
