The Deposit is Down!

Well, I put my deposit down on my Italia yesterday. It should arrive in two to three weeks, which will give me plenty of time to take my test at the DMV (I took the safety course last week!), get insurance, and go shopping for a helmet and other accessories. Woohoo!

You joined MB in Aug 2006 and you're just now getting your Buddy?

Perhaps not a record I wanted to set. Let's just say that it took a bit longer to convince certain people that I should get a scooter than I had originally anticipated...

I had some convincing to do as well, which took a while, but the introduction of the Buddy last year happily coincided with the eventual successful convincement.
