Headlight Adjustment

Post by team600 »

Hello Everyone. I just purchased a 2007 Buddy 125 and already having a blast. I ran into a problem this morning on the way to work... the light is projected at the ground about 3 feet in front of the bike. I looked in the owners manual and cannot find how to adjust the height of the beam. Can anyone out there point me in the right direction? Thank you very much ahead of time!

There is a bolt under the headlight that you can loosen to adjust the headlight.

Yeah under the headlight is an 8mm bolt you loosen it and slide it forward until you get the ligh where you want. The way I adjusted mine I had it in low beam and had someone about my weight sit on the scooter and I aimed the headlight so the top of the beam lines up just beneath the horizon. That way it maximizes the distance light is thrown without blinding oncoming motorists.
