Power loss
Have been riding my RH50 since early March with no problems, but until today all the riding has been local and low speed. Today I was out about 3 miles from town and had it WOT. Suddenly I lose power and the speed drops down to about 20mph. When I made a turn I could accelerate again, but lost power again. Finally got back home with on again off again speed. Had no problem starting it again after I got home. So any ideas? Dealer said to open the carburetor drain, but could it be the auto-cock or dirty air cleaner? Or anything else?

Bingo! Fuel gets in your vapor recovery line and blocks the ventilation necessary for fuel flow. Be careful not to top off your tank next time. To release the "lock" open your gas cap, run for a minute to work the air bubble out of the line, replace cap. If you search "vapor lock" you'll see it's happened to most of us
