Not a Buddy, but definitely a scooter:

I gotta say, this is a really basic conveyance.

Huh? Cushman Scooters stopped being produced in 1965. I guess someone in Gardena (K-Jack Motors) purchased the Cushman logo and has started cranking out copies of the original Cushman's. Interesting. I guess that's why they call it the Cushman "II". I don't know how they get away with using the Cushman name though. Cushman still exists and makes carts and utility vehicles. Maybe it has something to do with the "II". Or maybe they're paying a license fee.

Looks like the Step Thru model is a 400 cc.

I would take one in a heartbeat. Love the looks and I remember the old ones. Anyone know prices or top speeds?

Like I said, really basic conveyance. They seem to be pretty close copies of the originals.

I lean toward the model with the basket on the back. Seems more useful, although it has the smaller engine.

I doubt they're particularly fast and I wonder how well they handle. They remind me of my roto-tiller in construction.

There's a long thread on these already: viewtopic.php?t=19351

Lots of info there. I'm going to lock this one so we can keep this topic in one place.
