Legshield Protectors scratched up from my feet.

I have the Stella Legshield Protectors and the bottom portion is getting all scratched from my feet, is there anything that you folks do to prevent scratching through the chrome?

I was thinking about putting some plastic tubing around the section where my feet hit, but just I wanted to know if there are other solutions to the problem.

Don't put your feet on them.
or, take them off.
anything else defeats the purpose of chrome.

I had a more polite way to say it, but I accidentally deleted it and I don't want to re-type the whole thing- and you may not have wanted to read it.

Scratched where? The passenger pegs?

There is protective clear adhesive vinyl you can put on the bottom. Some people use it for the undersides of their scoots behind the front wheel.
