Yes...however if you are under warranty materials and labor should be covered by your dealer at no cost to yousupermach wrote:Do they take paypal?jimmbomb wrote:I bought one from SIP website for under 350. Check out SIP.... good luck

I had my dealer look over my bike and he said it was ok now 25 miles later I need a new muffler + I had to pay him $60.00 this to look at the bike so if he was goin to get me a new muffler it's this going to be a problem for me.BuddyRaton wrote:Yes...however if you are under warranty materials and labor should be covered by your dealer at no cost to yousupermach wrote:Do they take paypal?jimmbomb wrote:I bought one from SIP website for under 350. I'd be on the phone with Genuine confirming that the part and work needed should be under warranty first. Then I'd be on the phone with the local Better Business Bureau. Most reputable businesses don't like customers getting those folks involved in disputes.
It sucks that the next closest place is 100 miles away, but if you've got a way of getting your bike there, that's probably going to the your best bet. If the work should be covered under warranty and the dealer is refusing to honor it, your relationship with that dealer should end immediately.

I'm confused...
You say that "the other dealer is like alittle more then 100+ miles away." But based on the location that your profile says you're in of Manahawkin, NJ, there are, according to the Genuine website, 5 dealers within 100 miles of you.
1) Manasquan, NJ - 45 mi.
2) Mays Landing, NJ - 39 mi.
3) Philadelphia, PA - 83 mi.
4) Brooklyn, NY - 95 mi.
5) Soho, NY - 95 mi.
What else aren't you telling us here and why should we take you seriously at this point if you can't even do that little bit of investigating before you cry that there isn't another dealer within 100+ miles of you?

What makes you say the muffler is bad? I think you mentioned on another thread that it rattled?
What exactly did the dealer say when you said it was making noise?
1. They don't hear it.
2. The noise is normal.
3. It's bad, but not covered under warranty.
4. Something else.
I really think we don't have enough information to somehow conclude the dealer is not doing their job.

Well first RELAX alittle and two if you like call the on in Mays Landing, NJ. I called them and I sent in there and they only sell the buddy line. Because it's a Nissan car dealer that sells Genuine scooter but on the Genuine web site they said that they are a dealer but they only sell the buddys... What I really don't get.Blackshirt wrote:I'm confused...

+ I don't what to give the guy to much of a problem from the dealer that I got the stella 4 stroke from because I still what to get 2 more Genuine. scooters.
2 It's normal. But when I have it to him it only made the sound at 35mph-42mph. Now it's right after it's warmed up it would make a sound like there is something inside the muffler but now big but small like a nut moving around when I give it gas and when I go at top speeds it sounds like what's ever in there is goin crazy.uncleralph wrote:What makes you say the muffler is bad? A system found on some other forums (including Modern Vespa) where the membership as a whole is given the opportunity to give a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" to others' posts. The cumulative "Karma" rating thus generated for each member is displayed beneath their avatar for all to take note of.supermach wrote:What are you talking about?Silver Streak wrote:Too bad you haven't implemented a Karma system here, Eric.supermach wrote:No more help here... Seriously? You were pointed to another exhaust and a member offered to sell you a stock one. How about we go out and buy one for you and mount it to your scooter?
The muffler, if bad, is covered under warranty. Work it out with a dealer, any dealer. If your disposition in person is anything like it is here, it's no surprise the dealer isn't eager to work with you on this.
The continued attitude, incoherence, and insistence that others solve your problems for you is growing very tiresome. I don't think anyone appreciates it. We're not here to interpret your ramblings, offer help then suffer your ingratitude. You've been tolerated and indulged long enough. So consider this a final warning. We don't have a karma system, but I'd have no problems simply banning you so we can get back to our business.

1. I really don't what to buy it from that member.
2. If I do work things out with the dealer who knows that the samething wouldn't happend again.
3. I am still waiting to know if that one site take paypal and if they do they I would get the one that someone pointed out to me ( maybe because he was trying to help and not be a Jack Off like someone i'm talking to now).
4. Go frak your mother.
Anything else there BOSS?

And that's how you get banned on MB! Any questions?
Everyone else did a great job of trying to help this guy despite his semi-illiterate mumblings and complete lack of gratitude. Kudos for that.
