easy performance upgrades
hi, I just acquired a STELLA 4T 150cc
I would like for someone to inform me the best and easiest way to improve the performance of my scooter (everyday performance).
in other words where do I start to improve my scooter for an increase on everyday performance, and from there where do I go in the future.
a map or document on this subject would be greatly appreciate it.
thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what tires come on the Star Deluxe version being sold in Panama; may not be the same ones.
There aren't a lot of performance parts available for the 4T 150s yet. Here's what I know or have heard of:
Pinasco exhaust
Polini cylinder kit
Polini exhaust (see topic18745.html)
Polini carburetor
Few of us have installed these, as most of us are still under warranty and the parts haven't been widely available in the US yet.
Some of the owners in the UK LML Club may have more experience:

I may have confused this above, saying it was from Polini. I don't think there are two carb kits.

MHR Cyl kit and the NCY ceramic cyl.
I haven't seen the Polini but have heard it's in their wholesale catalog.

Most 3.5 x 10" tires fit. You can use a tubeless on the same rim, but need to have a tube in it.
I haven't heard about those Yokohamas. The most popular ones around here seem to be Continental S83 and various Michelins. I've given up on finding whitewalls I actually like riding on.
