Watch for the Buddy!
Hi guys,
I was having a hard time reading my watch when I'm geared up so I bought this watch to tell time. It has a silicone band that you have the reallllly stretch to get to where I put it but it really a nice addition, esp. the color coordination with the blackjack.
I bought it from here...

I have been having a similar peeve. ONE thing I miss about my car is being able to glance at the dash and know what time it is. I was thinking about trying to find a weatherproof stick-on digital clock, or something like that, to put up near my meters.
I'd like to know how weatherproof this little thing ends up being, let us know in a week or two.

LunaP: the actual digital stuff watch guts stuff is sealed in plastic i.e. when the battery dies the whole watch is worthless. But for a $1.90 you can't beat it.
Viney: good call on the sun fade. I didn't think of that. It would be an issue with black too. The good thing is I scratched that piece while moving it and I bought a replacement I haven't installed yet so I'm not worried about damaging that one.

Yep, that's my solution too. Bought a large $9 watch with illuminated hands at WallyWorld on clearance. When it dies, I'll just replace it rather than the battery.DanielPerrin wrote:Something that I have done is taken a water resistant watch without the band, and use a self-stick velcro square to keep it in place. Then I can take the watch with me when I park the scooter, if I want. I do enough riding after dark that I would really like an illuminated watch/clock.
