Dang - no 100x90-10. Have to use either the 3.5x10 or the 100x80-10.

3.5x10 is a tube tire wonder if the biggest 10 inch will fit in the rear of my buddy

Yeah, I should have looked at the 'technics' column. The smallest tubeless 10" is 120mm wide. I'm not sure that would clear the fenders / forks / swingarm / etc.

We have raced Schwalbe MTB tires & love them - be interesting to see how they hold up on a scooter.

I would be interested in the Schwalbe 100/80 front & 120/70 rear.

The current Heidenau's we are running clear with plenty of room, I think these will clear just fine set up like noted above.

Heidenau K61 tires 100/90 front & 110/80 rear.

Change that - have to verify rear clearance yet Schwalbe 100/90 front & 120/90 rear would be my choice - in blackwall of course.

This could be a great find!

Have you tried Coker Tire or Universal Vintage Tire in PA. I have bought their whitewalls for vintage cars. I saw they stocked motorcycle tires not sure if they had scooter sizes.

Just purchased a few Schwalbe scooter tires.

Schwalbe 100/90 front/rear for my wife and went with the 120/70 rear tire for me to try. The 120/90 being about 3/4" taller would have issues starting with the exhaust bracket, so we ended up with a slightly shorter, yet still wider tire this time.

Will post how they fit once they arrive and are on the bikes.

Just ran across this thread. The grid in the OP lists 100/90-10 for the whitewall. Am I correct that this would be the same width and slightly smaller outside circumfrence than the stock Maxxis ww's on the black jack?

Correct - these are slightly shorter than the factory 100/90-10 factory MAXXIS tires which came on the Blackjack and the 150 International's.

I am running a 110/80-10 (88) on my rear wheel right now and do not notice any difference in height. It is very close the the factory 100/90-10 (90) yet the 100/80-10 (80) whch is a full 10mm or just over 3/8" shorter.

We have three of four Schwalbe tires headed our way. The next shipment hits the US in about a month. Then we will be able to ride them on two International's to see how they do.

Have you received the three of four Schwalbe tires yet? Do they look like quality tires? I was considering ordering from their website a couple years ago, but they were out of stock on many items I wasn't sure they would actually have what they did list having. If you have a good experience with them I will likely give them a try. It looks like they sell a good product.

Hopefully waiting for the next shipment means you will be getting a fresh tire - I ordered a pair of Dunlop F11s once that were already 9 years old when they showed up on my door.

Follow up on a few Schwalbe Weatherman (HS-540) scooter tires.

So far the Weatherman tires have been great for us. They bite the road well, have held great in quick starts, stops and corners – not that we really push them. Mostly commuting riding in and around Dallas with a lot of fairly heavy traffic. We did get to go to Austin and ride something over 215 miles and some of that was in the rain. The tires performed great.

We have the Schwalbe 100/90 for both our scooters on the front and the 110/80 rear tire on my wife’s scooter.

I started with the 120/70 rear tire for my scooter – and felt the shorter height and didn’t get the mileage I was looking for.

Today we just installed a 130/70 rear tire on my scooter. We had no idea if this would even fit on the Buddy. The thought was a little wider would give us a wider contact patch so as to not wear out the center as quick yet when mounted the tire crowned up quite a bit as it is made for a wider rim which we don’t have. It DOES fit on the scooter and I can really feel the height difference from the 120/70 we just pulled off. No more than a quick test ride at this point. The tire just clears in a spot or two yet no chance of locking up. I like the height yet we are thinking the crown will cause the center of the tread to wear quicker. We are going to lower the air pressure starting at 30 psi to see if a little less air will give us the wider contact patch which should give us a longer lasting tire.

I actually just ordered a pair of the Weatherman in 100/90-10 this week. I'm looking forward to giving a try this fall/winter.
