How big of a job is it to service a clutch on a 08 Buddy 50? Owner has modded the motor "was moded out/Primo Stage 1 kit installed at the start of last summer. New primo exhaust added, governor taken off and fully tuned up."
Owner says that the rear wheel is locked up and sombody told him it was a bad clucth? Since this is a belt drive CVT would if be normal for a belt to let go and jam the rear drive or sound more like the reduction gear in there that may have gone bad?
Are these reductions gears pretty heavy duty or perhaps the motor mod coused premature wear?
Looking @ a 08 Buddy 50 (Owners says it real wheel locked)

Pretty easy to fix/service the clutch if that actually is the problem. A broken belt can seize the clutch, especially kevlar belts which shred apart.
BUT, I'd want a look inside that transmission. Not very hard to just remove the clutch and see how/if the wheel spins.

If the guy is selling a scooter with a seized rear wheel and won't let someone inspect the transmission or send it to a dealer to get it fixed, I'd be pretty wary of buying from him.
