heidenau tires - where to buy?

Post by dsmith65 »

I need to replace the rear tire on my buddy, and would like to get some K61s. I've tried to find sites online that sell them but everyone is out. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Don

Well of course, if it's popular they have to be out or discontinue it...

Since I have the same Italia, you'll have to let me know how you like them (or whatever tires you get...)! The whitewalls look sweet but I can tell they're not performance tires.

And while Heidenau aficionados are opening this thread, does anybody have any reviews of the K47s?

scootershop.com has good prices with free delivery.

I recently ordered to for the BUddy, and currently have a K66 in transit for the Xciting, they ship pretty quickly and are in CA.

WOW..... A quick look at the Heidenau web-site showed a dealer near me!
Gotta get me a set as my factory Maxxis up front has 12000+ miles and my Prima rear has 8000+/- miles (and is shot)

Scootershop.com

Edit-Free shipping for orderts over $50 BUT, with 2 tires the weight is too much for free shipping. Solution? Make 2 seperate orders. :) I suppose you could give them a call to straighten out that "glitch", but I didnt bother.

Bad news..... AND I don't get it. The 'local' dealer, although they're a Genuine dealer as well, does not have the 100/90-10 needed for the Buddy.....
He's got plenty for the big bikes though.... :?

scooterwest .com (my local shop Vepsa Motorsports) put on 100/90 for me 2 weeks ago. give them a shout.

http://www.scooterwest.com/items/?_page ... -Tire/8970

locally they give you 30% of the 2nd tire when you buy both at once. Give 'em a call and see if that will work for online orders.

Thanks, for the links everyone. I'm looking forward to getting the tire on, wish it came in a white wall - oh well.
