No, I don't think it does, but most web browsers do spell checking - I know Firefox and Chrome do. Internet Explorer does not do it by default. If you're using IE, you'd do yourself a huge favor by switching browsers, for more than just spell checking reasons.

I have IE here, and at the top in the Google toolbar, there's a "check" icon. I just typed this response, deliberately misspelling two words, and before I hit "preview", I clicked on the "check" button. Worked fine.

not to hijack it, but as an IT pro who has removed a LOT of malware, IE is the best browser for downloading other browsers...

Chrome and Firefox check your spelling as you type, giving you the red squiggly line if you misspell something. No need to press a button. But I'm glad MS has caught up on this.

+1
Also, as long as we're being IT Professionals, I'll toss out something random and IT'y. Everyone who has Java loaded on their computers should update it right away. There's a really severe vulnerability that's being actively exploited right now. In particular, it has affected a lot of Macs, so this is one time the Mac users can't sit back and laugh at us Windows folk. http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13727_7-57 ... abilities/

I've used Opera for years. I work with a lot of engineers who rant on IE and Windows regularly; "Anything but IE" they usually say. Every one of them uses Firefox as their primary browser. One of the EEs asked me why I use Opera, so I told him I used Opera because it wasn't Firefox

But IE is my primary browser, and I have never been bothered by browser hijacks. Internet Explorer doesn't attract malware, careless browsing habits do. So if you regularly have problems with malware change your habits, not your browser.

Found it!

 Thanks for the help Modern Buddy friends. I found it in Firefox. I will start adding a few comments here and there once in a while. I have had scooters sense April 2011, and got a lot of info here. How to change oil, how to drain a carb after it sat all winter, how to add pictures from PB, plus a few other things. Thanks to the power of Modern Buddy! Ride safe issue31 (John)
