Size of the floorboard on the 2009 125/150

Post by nackedei »

I'm wanting to make sure my feet will fit, and I've seen contrary posts here, so thought I'd see if anyone has/could measure the floorboard of their Buddy (the only way I can easily do that is to hop on if I see one parked, and would rather not go that route).

I ask because I don't have a fit problem on a Vespa 150 LX, but rode a Vino for the first time yesterday and my feet just didn't fit flat on the floorboard! They're not huge (size 12), but I must admit my boots are not svelte things (quite the contrary!)...

Many thanks!

Size 12, NOT huge???
What, was your great-grandfather a Sasquatch?
(Geeze.... I wear a size 8 )

Roughly 15 inches front to back, narrowing to 6 inches in the middle and 12 inches side to side.
Aging is mandatory, growing up is optional.

My size 13 Doc Martens fit fine, if snug. As do my Converse chunky style work shoes. My size 14 Doc Martens, not so much.

You should be a-ok on a daily basis. Just remember this is a small scooter. Foot room is at a premium for me and foot angle will require adjustment sometimes, but the scooter is great fun all the time. I'll snap a pic of my feet on the floorboard in the next couple days and post it.
