I first learned of zoetropes on The History Channel and just stumbled on this really cool motion art on bicycle wheels using the same principle.

If you're interested, Pixar did one in 3D using sculptures:

i have seen the one from pixar. really cool stuff.

wonder how fast they have to ride the bike in order to create the best image? nice find.
no i don't ride a scooter, i am a scooter pilot!
