Just got my new 170i

Post by jeremydouglass »

Was on here last week asking for some advice about a Black Jack i found for a very good price on local craigslist. Got some very good advice and info about it and all who commented on that post were very helpful. Turns out the owner wasn't a very motivated seller, so that was a bust. Ended up going to the Genuine dealer here in town and getting the last 170i they had in stock. Now she's the Planet Express scooter. Just thought I'd share.

And here she is next to a friend's Buddy 150. She sure is pretty.

Thanks, peeps.
It's a really nice color, and after the break in I imagine we'll get along just fine. Looks especially cool with the large Prima roll bag i put on the back. By the way, was able to fit 5 plastic bags of groceries in there the other day. AND a gallon jug of apple juice. Very roomy bag, I'll say.

The Planet Express decal looks great on your scoot! Where did you get it, if you don't mind me asking?

Not true (it's another color that does), but whatever gets you through the night. :)

I'd say mine is a Scooty Puff Jr; the 170 is the Doombringer! 8)

Congrats on the 170!

YAY! I, too, have the green 170. And the Prima roll bag is next on my list. Just had to give a shout-out to a fellow green 170 scooterist!!

PS: love your photos.

I haven't actually rode a 125, but from everything i read before i bought my 170, the ride is the same.... but the power is much better. You would be totally happy riding the 125 until you tried a 170. Then you couldn't go back - at least thats what people have said. It just has more get-up. So if you're a bigger person or just a speed enthusiast, always go bigger!
