Buddy Cowl Protectors (Crash Bars) & Foot Pegs

My Buddy’s footpegs are currently not installed. I originally installed the footpegs to give my wife a more comfortable place to place her feet when she rides as a passenger. However when my wife and I were taking the riding skill test for our license I removed the footpegs because for the test if your bike has footpegs the footpegs must be the type that fold in when not in use and the Buddy’s footpegs do not fold in. I never re-installed the footpegs after we got our licenses. About a month ago I preparing to re-install the footpegs but my wife told me not to because we very infrequently ride two-up. She has become accustomed to driving the Buddy solo and did not want the footpegs on while she was driving because she thought that they might get in her way because the footpegs stick out. When we each have our own Buddy I will put the footpegs back on my Buddy to see how I like them.

I have them on my SI and like them.

I did however mod the foot pegs exactly the same as this thread:

Looks much cooler IMO.

I think the stock "handle bar grip" is a bit cheesey and my jeans were constantly getting caught on them before I did the mod.

I have them and like the look, but I will be modding them soon. My pants are constantly getting caught.

i'd be inclinded to want just the footpegs and no cowl protectors. i sortof don't like the line of the cowl protectors, i think it gives it a too bling look and kinda hurts the already sexy lines of the buddy. no worries, i'm only one person. they still look great with them for those of you who have them. just not for me. anyone wanna sell me just the pegs?
