One week ago I had a minor accident. The day after the incident I had my scooter dealership check things out and they claimed everything was fine. A week after the accident my scooter died in traffic. The engine kill switch was not activated. The scooter was not out of gas. The scooter would not start. I've removed the spark plug, found that is was fine and returned it to it's place. The scooter still won't start and my mechanic can't see me for another week. I need my scooter running urgently. Anyone have any other suggestions of what to check/how to problem solve my dead scooter?

The service manual has an algorithm for troubleshooting a non-starting scooter.
I would consider:
1. Do your lights turn on?
2. Does your starter turn?
3. Is the battery charged? How old is it? Have you tried a new battery?
4. Is there a spark at the spark plug?
5. Is there fuel getting into the cylinder?
6. Have you checked all the wires?
before I would consider something being broken from a collision like the CDI or something.

I'd start with even more basic things.
What happens when you try to start it?
Can you kickstart it?
Had you recently filled up with gas? Could be something as simple as vapor lock. If it's trying to start but simply won't ignite, try opening the gas tank, then try starting with the cap off.
