Psycho to the Indian reservation.

Post by scudder »

I decided to take a trip on my scoot and ride some of the roads north of me. I live in Georgia and rode to Cherokee, NC taking the long way of course! It was a great ride and not a single problem out of the Buddy. Total trip distance was 430 miles in two days. I have 2,048 miles on my Psycho now. I just got a GoPro and made a crappy time lapse of one of the more prominent roads for motorcyclists around here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rg-n-_v1 ... e=youtu.be

Here I am loaded up and ready to go!

Here she is taking a rest!

I saw a sign for a waterfall and thought to myself "I like water falls"...three miles up a dirt road.

Beginning of the Skyway!

At an overlook...most of the motorcyclist were interested and amused by the Buddy.

The Indian reservation consists of a Casino and gift shops...meh.

I will post some of the videos I took, not that they are worth watching. I took a highway on the way back and the Psycho was actually reading a bit over 70mph on the buddy meter!

Extra props for the Venture Bros. stickers. (I spotted Dr. Killinger, the Guild of Calamitous Intent, the Monarch, and the Blackhearts.) Very cool.

No, the water walking exhibition consisted of a kiddie pool and some plastic balls floating around....there was no one present to demonstrarte and no instructions, so I assumed it was some sort of faith based exercise and opted to buy a keychain instead...

A VB-themed scooter club would be pretty damned cool. An OSI branch, a Sphynx branch, Guild, Triad, et cetera. But knowing my luck I'd end up in Conjectural Technologies SC...

Thats funny...unfortunately I work for a company that is very similar to Conjectural Technologies. Its called Sure Tac Systems, A division of the Crist Company....there are no other Crist company divisions, but thats how they answer the phone.

Beautiful Country through there
Just curious what kind of speeds you where averaging on those
roads, and how well you integrated with traffic?
Can't wait to get a Psycho!!!

A rough guestimate of my average speed would be 55mph....traffic really was not a problem, I was passed by two guys on crotch rockets and I pulled over to let a guy in some sort of Audi 3000 douche mobile pass while going up a steep grade that was about 4 miles long.
